Despite of several requests of large publishers the advertising giant until now maintained nothing about it.

According to official Adwords Blog, Google earns its maximum revenue from AdSense for content and AdSense for search. In case of AdSense for content the revenue are collected from the ads, which are embedded in key words at random. Whereas in AdSense for search the ads target the query words used for searching by adding an individual search engine inside the owner’s blog. At present for AdSense for content, the ratio of eCPM or Effective cost-per-thousand impressions between ad publisher and Google is 68 : 32. Meanwhile for AdSense for search the CPC or cost-per-click the ratio is 51 : 49. Besides these, Google collects revenue from many other means like AdSense for mobile applications, AdSense for feeds, and AdSense for games. However, they refuse to reveal revenue shares for these saying that it is in the process of learning in view of varieties and broad range of prices of yields of various production houses.

Nevertheless, there was an additional mistaken belief regarding serving fee levied by Google on ads before splitting of AdSense Revenue Share but Google authorities denied existence of any kind of such taxes.

Along with this Google has also released top regional based searched keywords for more then 34 countries.

Google is the biggest search engine on the internet which serves more then millions of searched keywords result daily. So, it is really interesting to know that which keywords ruled the search box all the 366 days (though this was leap year).

According to this list, the top 10 searched keywords for 2008 are:

Last year I came up with the top searched keywords in Yahoo but this time while it is ending of year 2008 I am sharing list of most searched keywords in Google, Yahoo and Ask search engines throughout the year.

As this year was the Election year in America so the political keywords were quite famous, though Britney Spears who was also the famous search keyword in Yahoo for year 2007, succeeded in sustaining its position this year also. Here is the top 10 list of Yahoo Searches which ruled in 2008.

It is really a good step for the goodness of the eyes of a common user, as it was awfully tough to find out cat hidden in the CAPTCHA. I really has a tough time finding it out :(
Further they announced that free users can now upload bigger files up to 200 MB. Through they have also limited the maximum file download speed for free user to 500 kilobits per second. To reimburse of that, users now don’t have wait more until starting second download however you will still have to wait for 25 seconds before starting any download as free user.
