Asus Eee Pad: New Rival of iPad?

Asus finally ready to unveil the new Eee Pad from its notebook-laptop kitty for which it was previously acknowledged. They confirmed the news of releasing of more than one version of Asus Eee Pad in the ceremony of COMPUTEX 2010 in Taiwan in 1^st week of June. So far the information gathered from different sources it is speculated to be most efficient opponent of Apple’s iPad.

Asus Eee Pad EP121 with 12 inch of touchscreen display will have an Intel’s Core 2 Duo CULV processors with NVIDIA Tegra 2 graphics chipset as hardware baseline and will run on windows 7 and Android OS. There will be a 2 megapixel webcam with video conferencing capability. In other specifications Eee will have 1080p HD video playing capability with a HDMI port, handwriting identification, a virtual dock style keyboard, and all kinds of data transferring facilities like 3Gnwtwork, WI-FI or Bluetooth connectivity. Other than this Eee will support the latest Adobe flash 10.1. Like iPad The Battery will support as long as 8-10hrs on a single charging.

Regarding EP101TC which is considered to be more users friendly will have a 10 inch of touchscreen display with Windows Embedded Compact 7 operating system. Nevertheless Asus refuses to add anything more on specifications.

The price range of these two Eees is anticipated to be in a range of $399 to $499. However the tentative date of release is not yet confirmed.

Apple sells a Record of Two Million iPads in Less Than 2 Months

Apple’s Usain Bolt like run in technology market seems to be going beyond anyone’s imagination. This time Apple creates a new record of selling 2 million tablets in merely 2 month time since its debut in US market on April 3. According to Steve Jobs Apple is trying hard to deal with the misjudged demand of iPads in US which also causes delay in release of iPad internationally.

This huge craze benefits Apple with a sell of nearly 1 million of Wi-Fi version of iPad in 28 days. Since then Apple has released the 3G version also as well as started shipping in Australia, Japan, Canada, the U.K., Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and is expected to entre in market of another nine more countries in coming July. According to Royal Bank of Canada, Apple will achieve a target of 8 million buyers within this fiscal year of which 43% will be outside US. France will lead the list followed by U.K.

There are 5,000 new applications are already available on the App Store for iPad. Other than that iPad will support 20,000 more apps, many of which so far used in iPod or iPhone.

iPad’s all-round facilities, laptop like design with a new sensation of gaming entertainment has made a profound impact on people of all ages. Therefore it’s quite evident that all these times ahead gadgets will give Apple’s brand value further mileage in market.

Acer’s Android Series : Acer Stream Officially Released

Since release of Google Nexus, up to now no smartphone whether it is based on Android 2.1 or 2.2 has not able to entirely satisfy the modern users, maybe it’s time for Acer Stream to change the scenario in its favor. In recent press release Acer CEO Gianfranco Lanci has unveiled the new Acer Stream, an Android 2.1 guided fully optimized device for home entertainment.

Now take a brief look at the specifications of Acer Stream.

The phone runs on 1 GHz Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon processor with the support of RAM capacity of 512MB.
3.7 inches widely spread WVGA AMOLED touchcsreen display; with a 2000:1 dynamic contrast produce crystal clear presentation.
5-megapixel optical capacity camera with 720p HD video recording efficiency. Presence of HDMI port allows connection to the HDTV.
Presence of A2DP type Bluetooth of 2.1 version with High Speed Downlink Packet Access or HSDPA and b/g/n category of Wi-Fi enables web browsing experience similar to PC. Furthermore to speed up the whole browsing process this phone is also equipped with DLNA & UPnP technology.

Google TV and It’s Future

T.V or Internet, Which provides the ultimate range of entertainment to the viewer, is a huge debatable question. According to worldwide Internet Services Providers and Global T.V Market, with 1.67 billion of internet users compared to 1.13 billion households of T.V, internet is the largest entertainment medium in modern world. Still internet lacks some basis features like high quality viewing or uninterrupted live broadcasting facilities. Hence, to a next generation gadget-freak a perfect blending of both TV and internet in a single device would be the decisive meaning of entertainment. To manufacture such a device that can only be accomplished in science fiction till now, a joint collaboration of Google, Intel, and Sony has taken this ambitious project. So far the reports are coming Google will create application software and it will function as interface between hardware and chipset provided by Intel and broadcasting facilities of Sony TV sets. A modified version of MeeGo Linux operating system with the help of Adobe Flash 10.0 and HTML Web Browser will support the whole network.

According to their recent announcement in Google I/O conference, San Francisco; Google TV will have normal TV like features with browser facilities. That means one can search any kind of television channel, movie, songs, shows, websites or anything that can be visualized by just typing some key words in home screen! Furthermore, if anyone favors any particular channel he/she can add it to the bookmark in home screen to avoid daily searching hazards.

Viewing all these integrated features; one can easily speculate that the device will set a new trend of visualization. Very soon, Google TV will be seen in advanced Sony TV sets or in normal TVs with the help of set top boxes.

Back in April this year I wrote two posts regarding Zune HD, first one was Zune HD Leaked Pictures while the another one was revealing some of the specifications of Zune HD. Earlier in May 2009 Microsoft announced its Touch screen media player Zune HD which not to mention, was a direct competition to Apple’s iPod touch.

Microsoft today has launched Zune HD which is available in two units 16GB for $219.99 available in Black color while 32GB unit costs $289.99 and available in Platinum.

Microsoft is also planning to launch a bunch of games in Zune Marketplace which users can play on Zune HD alongwith that some social networking apps are also being developed for Zune HD.

This new Nokia 7705 has a unique square shape with 2.4 inch of screen display which swivels open to divulge full QWERTY keyboard which basically makes it a text messaging phone. But that’s not it; Nokia 7705 also has a 3 Mega-pixel of camera with ability to record videos too.

Nokia N900 Full Specifications

Nokia has announced its latest handset N900 today which is the First Maemo 5 based handset, talking about its specs sheet then this phone looks quite good and it also has an elegant design.

N900 has a touchscreen resistive display with ARM Cortex-A8 processor which contains 1GB of virtual memory and OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics acceleration. It also has full QWERTY keyboard which will also attract business class to go for this one.

It has 3.5 inch screen with 800×480 pixel resolution comes with a built-in memory of 32 GB which can be later on expanded up to 48GB using microSD memory card.

Nokia N900 has a 5 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual-LED flash. On the browsing part it has Mozilla based web browser with Adobe Flash 9.4 supported.

Zune HD Specifications Revealed

After the leaked images of Zune HD, everyone was waiting for its specifications and technical functionalities, so it reveled today by some unofficial sources.

After looking at the pictures, it can be undoubtedly say that Zune HD will give a tough competition to iPod.

Now if we talk about what Microsoft is cooking to feast Zune HD users, then it will be a Multitouch OLED screen player with 16:9 aspect ratio also would have the functionality of TV out (HDMI) and will have the ability of wireless syncing to computer. It will also feature a web browser, though more details about browser have not been revealed.

Also there are speculations of support for 3D XBOX games.

Zune HD will hit the market with two versions 16Gb model and 32Gb model by the September of 2009.

Leaked Zune HD Photos?

Some anonymous tipster at Engadget provided pictures of so called fourth-generation Zune MP3 player by Microsoft.

According to depicted images we can expect a touch-screen version of Zune which may have HD resolution screen display, could be named as “Zune HD”. If we look at these pictures then it shows like, was made for some promotional camping.

More on there have not been any news regarding its release date, specifications and features as well as its price details. So we have to wait until we get some more leaked or official news about this gadget.

Sony Ericsson Announced 12.1 Mega-Pixel Mobile Phone

Sony Ericsson has announced it’s upcoming 12.1 mega-pixel camera phone at Mobile World Congress (MWC).

This upcoming phone has been given a unique codename “Idou”, though it’s not final now and it is expected that they wil launch the phone with some different name.

This master piece has 3.5 inch wide touch screen display with xenon light and auto focus camera.

Idou will have the power of next generation Symbian OS. Sony Ericsson has been also bundling this phone for complete entertainment purposes.

It is expected to be out by the mid of 2009 and will start it’s race in the tough competition of touchscreen mobility.

t-mobile G2 Leaked Photos

There was a rumor of t-mobile G2 phone sometime earlier, which gets an update yesterday when Gizmodo shared some of the purportedly leaked images of that t-mobile G2 phone.

If we took those images seriously then this one looks much better then its previous version which was G1.

As long as specification concerned this phone has 3.2 Megapixel camera on its back which is showing in one of those images as well as it has some shiny and glossy look. This second generation phone is much thinner then previous one because it doesn’t have keyboard.

Technology is developing more and more on daily basis and we are noticing great inventions in this field and the things which were in the concept years ago are getting more close to factuality.

There was time when we used to watch flying cars and wrist watch mobiles in the movies, but now its time when we can actually get our hands on one such kind of a gadget.

LG Korea has announced their latest invention, which is the first 3G HSDPA wrist phone. This phone is named as LG-GD910 which has 1.43” color touchscreen LCD, TTS (Text to Speech), MP3 Player and Video conferencing capability.

This wonder will introduced at 2009 International CES which is going to be held from 8-11 January 2009, while this wrist phone will be available in both Korea and Europe market.

Google is making it available to more and more users by escalating the number of countries to US, UK, Germany, Japan, India, Canada, France, Taiwan, Spain, Australia, Singapore, Switzerland, Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, Finland, Poland, and Hungary.

This black looking device is a storing device which connects to the keyboard cable and connects to the PC’s keyboard port and it stored all the typed data in it which can retrieve easily later on. This device usually install in public PC’s such as in Internet Cafe, Hotels, Airports etc.

Once a person entered its security credentials such as Email Logins, Credit Card no, Bank account details etc, all these data will be stored in this device and when you will leave that computer it can be retrieve easily.

So, beware of this latest fraud trick and check the existence of this device by yourself, before using public PC’s.

Samsung 8 Megapixel Pixon Announced

As of today, Samsung has officially announced its new Pixon. News hit this weekend that Samsung is going to launch its second 8 mega-pixel camera phone followed with INNOV8(i8510), becomes official today when Samsung introduced it.

Samsung Pixon(M8800) 3.2 inches TFT touchscreen with a 400×240 resolution of having a 8 mega-pixel camera with auto-focus, fast-shutter, face detection, geo-tagging and LED flash it also features accelerometer supported photo browser to flip through photo albums.

Pixon video camera has the ability to shoot at 30 and 120 frames per second also support slow motion playback. It can also create a virtual 5.1 channel surround sound audio mix of what you record. The Pixon is 13.8mm thick in measure, uses Samsung TouchWiz interface. Other than all these it has quad-band GSM/EDGE, as well as HSDPA 7.2 Mbps at 2100MHz, Bluetooth 2.0 and an FM radio with RDS also has a TV-out jack and supports microSD cards expansion.

Google G1 Phone Officially Announced

The first Google Android supported phone finally announced at a event yesterday. The most awaited and anticipated iPhone killer, T-Mobile G1 will be available in the market from October 27 for $179 with two year contract from T-Mobile. It will be launching in UK early November and for folks in Europe it will be available to them by the first quarter of 2009.

Today I am going to share some great gadgets with you guys.

Wheel pressure

Checking the tyre pressures of your car is generally pretty tedious and involves checking each tyre individually, either with your own tool or a trip to the garage. This gizmo lets you see the pressure without leaving the driving seat. The TPMS-201 is a set of valves that connect to each of your carâ€™s wheels, which measures and transmit the pressure to a display unit that you mount on the dash. The display unit shows you each tyreâ€™s pressure or temperature giving you the knowledge to pump your tyres for optimum performance.

USB Credit Card

Shinhan Card from South Korea has unveiled a new credit card unceremoniously known as the USB Credit Card. This is actually a contact less credit card and can be used for online purchases. All you need to do is insert the card into a USB drive and it will automatically enter your credit card information on your behalf.

How touching!

The Voyager is breaking new ground as the first handset with an interactive touch-screen and a full QWERTY keyboard. Not only this, it has a cool retractable antenna for V CAST as well as full HTML internet browsing. It also has dual speakers, a 2mega pixel camera/camcorder, and is Bluetooth capable.
