The infamous iPhone-Dev Team has just released latest version of their carrier unlock tool ultrasn0w 0.93 which can be used to unlock iPhone 3G/3GS 4.0 firmware (iOS 4 now) on 05.13.04 baseband.
Here are the step by step guide on how to use ultrasn0w 0.93:
- Once you have jaikbroken your iPhone 3G/3GS open Cydia on your iPhone.
- Now tap on Manage tab at bottom and choose Sources.
- Now you will have to add repository, to do this tap on edit and then Add button now type following repository URL http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com/
- After the source has been added tap on “Return to Cydia”.
- Now go to Search menu from bottom menu, type “ultrasn0w” and press search.
- Now tap on the ultrasn0w and choose Install from the top right menu.
- After installation complete restart your iPhone and insert your SIM.
- Here you go, now your iPhone 3G/3GS is completely unlocked with iOS 4 (05.13.04 firmware) and ready to use with any carrier.
P.S. ultrasn0w 0.93 can be used to unlock any firmware baseband from 04.26.08 to 05.13.04
