Apple sells a Record of Two Million iPads in Less Than 2 Months

Apple’s Usain Bolt like run in technology market seems to be going beyond anyone’s imagination. This time Apple creates a new record of selling 2 million tablets in merely 2 month time since its debut in US market on April 3. According to Steve Jobs Apple is trying hard to deal with the misjudged demand of iPads in US which also causes delay in release of iPad internationally.
This huge craze benefits Apple with a sell of nearly 1 million of Wi-Fi version of iPad in 28 days. Since then Apple has released the 3G version also as well as started shipping in Australia, Japan, Canada, the U.K., Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and is expected to entre in market of another nine more countries in coming July. According to Royal Bank of Canada, Apple will achieve a target of 8 million buyers within this fiscal year of which 43% will be outside US. France will lead the list followed by U.K.
There are 5,000 new applications are already available on the App Store for iPad. Other than that iPad will support 20,000 more apps, many of which so far used in iPod or iPhone.
iPad’s all-round facilities, laptop like design with a new sensation of gaming entertainment has made a profound impact on people of all ages. Therefore it’s quite evident that all these times ahead gadgets will give Apple’s brand value further mileage in market.
