Acer’s Android Series : Acer Stream Officially Released

Since release of Google Nexus, up to now no smartphone whether it is based on Android 2.1 or 2.2 has not able to entirely satisfy the modern users, maybe it’s time for Acer Stream to change the scenario in its favor. In recent press release Acer CEO Gianfranco Lanci has unveiled the new Acer Stream, an Android 2.1 guided fully optimized device for home entertainment.

Now take a brief look at the specifications of Acer Stream.
- The phone runs on 1 GHz Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon processor with the support of RAM capacity of 512MB.
- 3.7 inches widely spread WVGA AMOLED touchcsreen display; with a 2000:1 dynamic contrast produce crystal clear presentation.
- 5-megapixel optical capacity camera with 720p HD video recording efficiency. Presence of HDMI port allows connection to the HDTV.
- Presence of A2DP type Bluetooth of 2.1 version with High Speed Downlink Packet Access or HSDPA and b/g/n category of Wi-Fi enables web browsing experience similar to PC. Furthermore to speed up the whole browsing process this phone is also equipped with DLNA & UPnP technology.
- Internal storage capacity of 2GB can be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of external microSD cards.
- The total facilities are supported by, 1400 mAh Lithium-Ion standard battery which can allow 5 hrs. of Talk-time or 400hrs. in sand-by mode.

Regarding other significant news like date of release or price-tagging, Acer is yet to resolve those matters. But there is a rumor that people will have the change to buy it from October this year. So please stay here for next updates.
