Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has issued a notice to all the Internet Service Providers in Pakistan to block largest video and photo sharing sites YouTube.com and Flickr.com, the notice issued few hours later on Facebook banned which happened on Wednesday.
Including Facebook, Youtube and Flickr the authority has confirmed the banned on 400+ URLs in bid to contain blasphemous material. The situation started developing with the launch of “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day – May 20” community on Facebook, which invited users to draw sketches of Prophet Mohammad.
Though this ban is temporary; still there has not been any official words come up regarding the actual time all they are saying is “TEMPORARY”.
Now that largest content providing sites are being blocked in Pakistan can we expect the news of ban on Twitter or even Google (who knows?)

Now, ban our Hotmail, gmail and blogs too. Oh instead of all this, block our internet, otherwise how would we claim that we live in a forced, backward society.
