While at one hand iPhone jailbreakers getting their hands on jailbreaking latest iPhone 4.0 Firmware, on the other side another genius “Planetbeing” managed to port Android OS to iPhone 2G.
Earlier today he posted it on his blog “Linux on the iPhone” with a video demo, which shows Andorid OS successfully running on iPhone 2G and the best part of this hack is that it gives you option to boot your device either using Android OS or default iPhone OS.
This is really a treat for all the linux lovers who always wanted to use Android on their iPhones, though there is no reason for anyone to get an iPhone and run android on it but still when there is an option why shouldn’t we try?
What we may see in future is the availability of this hack to iPhone 3G and 3GS alongwith Flash support.
