Jailbreak and Unlock iPhone 3.1.3 Firmware

iPhone Dev team has released latest version of its infamous jailbreaking tool redsn0w 0.9.4 to jailbreak and unlock latest iPhone 3.1.3 firmware on iPhone 3G (no unlock), iPhone 2G, iPod Touch 2G (older models) and iPod Touch 1G.
Those with unlock iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS beware of this update and do not upgrade to this firmware as there is no unlocking solution available for now. While iPod Touch 2G (new models) and iPod Touch 3G owners should also wait a while because redsn0w 0.9.4 will not be able to jailbreak latest firmware on these devices.
How to Jailbreak iPhone 3.1.3 Firmware:
1. Update/Restore your device with the original 3.1.3 firmware using iTunes, direct links can be found here.
2. Now run redsn0w 0.9.4 and browse respective original 3.1.2 firmware, as redsn0w will not be able to validate 3.1.3 firmware.
3. Now select “Install Cydia” and “Already Pwned” and click Next.
4. Now switch off your device while it is plugged in to computer and click Next.
5. Now follow the on screen instructions and redsn0w will start patching firmware.
6. Now let the redsn0w do jailbreaking process and it will prompt the “Done” message once jailbreaking completed.
Now to unlock your iPhone 2G follow the instructions:
1. Open Cydia and install “BootNeuter” package.
2. Restart your iPhone and when BootNeuter starts set he settings as show in the image below

3. And that’s it you will have complete jailbreak and unlock iPhone 2G.
