Few days back I told you about Google planning to add bookmark synchronization in upcoming Google Chrome Dev release and earlier today Tim Steele the Software Engineer of Google Chrome confirmed the availability of bookmark sync on official Chromium blog.

The latest dev release of Google Chrome allows you to sync bookmarks using your Google account and it is using same XMPP technology which is also being used in Google Talk.

To enable bookmark sync feature you have to start Google Chrome with –enable-sync command line flag. Then click on Wrench icon on top left and then choose “Sync my bookmarks” from dropdown menu and it will ask your Google credentials, once you enter those details Google Chrome will automatically sync your bookmarks.
