BREAKING NEWS: Twitter is Down due to DDoS Attack

It’s been almost 2 hours and twitter is still down, this is one of the longest outage of this year.
According to twitter this outage is due to DDoS (Denial of service attack) and they are trying hard to defend the situation.
We are defending against a denial-of-service attack, and will update status again shortly.
Due to downtime of twitter all the social network addicts head over to facebook and due to this Facebook server is facing heavy server load and have been slow down and showing network errors.
UPDATE: Twitter is back now after 2 hours of deadly downtime.
