Famous blogging platform’s WordPress latest beta version has been released today. This new version has been titled as 2.7.1 Beta 1.

This new beta release is not as big as previously launched 2.7, but it contains some bug and tickets fixes.

To upgrade your WordPress 2.7 installation to 2.7.1, edit your wp-includes/version.php file and change version from 2.7 to 2.7.1-beta and then visit Tools->Upgrade in your WordPress admin panel. Otherwise you can upgrade it manually.
