Samsung 8 Megapixel Pixon Announced

As of today, Samsung has officially announced its new Pixon. News hit this weekend that Samsung is going to launch its second 8 mega-pixel camera phone followed with INNOV8(i8510), becomes official today when Samsung introduced it.
Samsung Pixon(M8800) 3.2 inches TFT touchscreen with a 400×240 resolution of having a 8 mega-pixel camera with auto-focus, fast-shutter, face detection, geo-tagging and LED flash it also features accelerometer supported photo browser to flip through photo albums.
Pixon video camera has the ability to shoot at 30 and 120 frames per second also support slow motion playback. It can also create a virtual 5.1 channel surround sound audio mix of what you record. The Pixon is 13.8mm thick in measure, uses Samsung TouchWiz interface. Other than all these it has quad-band GSM/EDGE, as well as HSDPA 7.2 Mbps at 2100MHz, Bluetooth 2.0 and an FM radio with RDS also has a TV-out jack and supports microSD cards expansion.
Pixon is anticipated to hit market on 2nd October. However, prices have not been revealed so far. On the whole it looks to give a good competition to iPhone and could be a iPhone killer.
