Google Chrome - An Open Source Browser By Google
September 2, 2008 – 3:18 pm
We all are well aware with the grip of Google on internet and now to make it stronger they are launching an open-source browser with the name Google Chrome.
Earlier Google announced on its official blog that they are launching their new open source browser tomorrow (in few hours) in more than 100 countries. Google has also published a comic of Chrome on Google Books highlighting some of its features.
The feature which is being most encouraged is its new tab based technology which runs each tab as separate progression. In case if one tab crash accidentally it will not impinge on other tabs in any way.

Here are some of its other promising features
1) Auto address bar completion named as Omnibox.
2) Google Gears integration.
3) InPrivate browsing, similarly as we found in IE 8, it is being named as Incognito.
4) Stand-alone support for web apps.
5) Opera’s SpeedDial-like feature for homepage.
Google is going to launch Chrome in few hours for the Windows users, but they are also planning to launch it for Mac and Linux users shortly.
Keep hitting the official Google Chrome website for download link. It will go up as soon they will launch it publically.
