UMM….THIS DO3S NOT work i think because i have itunes 8 and not 7 so if you guys can help me outt

No restore menu/choice that I can find anywhere in ITunes 7.7.
OK, there it is in Itunes when ipod selected. But like other guy, just gives a “an unknown error occurred (1403)”…
